I can't believe that I am almost 13 weeks.... I can't believe that I am working on baby #3!!! Will I ever have another pedicure :)
I am excited... maybe in part because we just welcomed a new addition to our family. My husbands brother and his wife Stefanie, welcomed baby #3 on Monday July 18th. (I think we are in a race :) ) I was so excited to be able to be in the room to experience this amazing time. To watch a new life come into the world. What a gift and a treasure.
Say hello to Miss. Nelleigh Renee Adkins {7lbs 11oz, born at 6:52am (after a long night waiting)} I don't think anyone is more shocked than her mama that she is a SHE!
New babies are so much fun, they have that certain sweet smell that only a newborn has. They are so soft and cuddly, they are so precious, so innocent. A person can't help but get all gitty on the inside when they look at a sweet new baby.
I am looking forward to being a auntie again. JR and Stef already have 2 sweet boys that I am in love with. Charlee and Garrett are embracing being big brothers, they know their new roles and they are taking them quite serious.
In other news...
Brac had chemo this past Monday. That's right, I stayed at the hospital waiting on Miss Nelleigh to arrive and then we took Brac to Cincinnati. I know, I know I'm a bit crazy. I love being sleep deprived.
His counts are very good, we are so thankful for this. He had a spinal tap with chemo and then went to another side of the hospital for his antibiotics and more chemo.
He's had a pretty good week so far. He's been pretty laid back. just kind of hanging out. He's had a slight upset stomach and some leg pain typical with the Vincristine and the steroids really haven't been to bad this month. Usually he is eating us out of house and home. This month he is more nibbling on this and that. Extremely picky and mostly wants salty foods but he's good.
I am putting the finishing touches on his Superhero Party. I am so excited. Probably more excited than he is.
I love planning these parties for my kids.

Can't wait to set up my cake table! I live for this kind of stuff. I hope that Braxton enjoys every moment and feels so special with every moment of his party.
